PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In TechnoAdvertise, learners design advertisements using Microsoft Word. They learn the word processing skills necessary to create a cover letter, resume, flyer, brochure, catalog, personalized invitation letters and mailing labels, and newsletter. Interwoven throughout the project are enrichment activities that involve business related task.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

At the end of the project, students should be able to:

► Write a professional cover letter and résumé.
► Design a flyer to promote an event using pictures, shapes, and more.
► Design a poster to promote a service using pictures, shapes, and more.
► Create a catalog, which contains an itemized list of products for sale.
► Create personalized invitation letters using mail merge.
► Generate mailing labels for each letter using mail merge.
► Produce a newsletter to inform people about activities.
