TechnoKidsPHPROJECT DESCRIPTION
In TechnoRobot, learners explore the creative and technical world of robotics. Using LEGO and LEGO Mindstorms NXT, they learn how to assemble different types of robots and make them perform actions through visual programming. They also learn how robotics is already part of our world by comparing their creations and its functionalities with real-life objects.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
By the end of the project, the learners should be able to:
► Understand the relationship of robotics with mechatronics.
► Identify the functions of robot parts.
► Design, assemble, and program robots that reflect real-life objects and their respective functionalities.
► Program robots using visual programming.
► Understand concepts, like instrumentation and control, which are essential to real-life robots.
► Dispel the idea that robots are always humanoids.
