PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In TechnoGIMP, learners create, edit, and manipulate images using  an open-source image editor—GIMP or GNU Image Manipulation Program. Once they learn the basics of GIMP, they will accomplish activities that will enable them to retouch photos, create digital arts, edit and manipulate images, create GIFS, etc. Learners are also introduced to standard image editing tools, which are also used in different image editing platforms.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

By the end of the project, the learners should be able to:

► Edit photos and create illustrations using GIMP.
► Adjust image settings.
► Retouch and manipulate photo elements.
► Add effects and filters to photos.
► Draw and design illustrations.
► Explore non-destructive methods of photo editing.
